Secondhand September (Part II): Where to Sell + Shop Consignment in Austin
We know–your professional organizing team is usually not the first to recommend you shop right after decluttering, but there’s an exception to every rule. One of those exceptions happens when the following stars align:
Star #1: It’s Secondhand September, and you’re excited to do some secondhand shopping to support your local circular economy (see more about how the circular economy works here).
Star #2: You’ve got a pile of clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories that have been waiting for this very day. They are your sell pile.
Star #3: It’s fall, and your heart wants a cozy vibe in some cute coffee shop followed by a little shopping spree that doesn’t fund the fast fashion industry.
That’s right, your professional organizers have your back on this one: sell that old clothing pile (finally), and reap your reward!
Since it’s our favorite month of the year that’s all about getting your thrifting on, we’ve made this second installment on how to fully enjoy Secondhand September. Down below is a list of ten consignment and buy/sell/trade stores in Austin, TX, plus lots of details to help you plan your shopping spree.
So, clear a tiny chunk of time on your calendar, pack up your “sell” pile, and get ready to embark on your quest. Oh, and definitely invite a friend!
